I don’t know how many of you know this but there are over 300 different tribes among the aboriginal people of Australia. They share song lines that connect them and an oral history that includes more communal intelligence than most civilizations who rose and fell ever had in the first place. When it comes to being stewards of the land, modern societies are like impetuous toddlers determined to destroy everything in their path. If science doesn’t lead us back to an appreciation of our ancestors, I’m sure they’ll be the ones who have the last laugh.
