Under Construction

There is quite a difference between childlike and childish. One evokes curiosity and wonder while the other appears petty and impatient. The former calls for cultivation and protection while the latter begs us to leave it all behind. Our early years are a matter of balance between a warm embrace and a petulant stance. If we’re fortunate enough, we just might enjoy the dance.
